This is a cheaper version of the Arduino Uno R3. To lower costs the in-line package of the ATMEGA328P has been changed to a flat package and the ATmega16U2 has been replaced with the CH340G USB-Serial Converter chip. The USB connector has also been replaced with a Mini-USB Socket. This version is 100% compatible with the original Arduino Uno R3.
